If you have

a graduation from Technical Education Faculties or Junior Colleges from the related departments. (Mechanics, Electrics, Mechatronics, Machine, Engine, Automotive)
no military service obligation (for male candidates)
no criminal records
no health obstacle to maintain a physical job
good command of both written and spoken Turkish and English (proof of language skills is needed or a proficiency test will be required)

If you are

Turkish Citizen
able to work in shifts in the case of the acceptance of technician position after training period.
able to live in İstanbul with your personal situation during the training period and then in the case of employment after the completion of the trainings successfully.
proficient with MS Office Applications

Company Description:

Pratt & Whitney Turkish Airlines Technic Aircraft Engine Maintenance LLP. (Turkish Engine Center) is a joint venture company between Pratt & Whitney that has a leading role in American Aviation Industry and Turkish Airlines Technic that is subsidiary of Turkish Airlines and a "Maintenance, Repair Organization (MRO)". Turkish Engine Center was established on October 10^th, 2008 and provides maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft engines for domestic and international airlines.Turkish Engine Center's goal is to grow to be the leading Engine MRO Center in this region.

About Technician Coaching Program

The aim of this program is coaching technician candidates with a training program that is appropriate for EASA rules by providing theoretical training and supporting this theoretical training with practical training at Turkish Engine Center's shop. This training will prepare candidates for working in the industry according to the three party protocol between Turkish Engine Center, THY Aviation Academy and İŞKUR.

There will first be two months of theoretical training that will be followed by two months practical training at the Turkish Engine Center shop. During this period, there will be aid payments to participants and the Social Security contributions by İŞKUR. The theoretical training will be in THY Aviation Academy at İstanbul Atatürk Airport at Yesilköy and then the practical training will be in Turkish Engine Center's shop at Sabiha Gökçen Airport at Pendik.

There will be assessments/evaluations during the training period for the participants and at the end of the training period, the participants that complete the program successfully and accepted by TEC will be hired by Turkish Engine Center as a technician.In the case of employment after successful completion of the training, the work place will be Turkish Engine Center's shop at Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
